Peperomia Prostrata is commonly referred as “String of Turtles” because of its leaf’s resemblance to a turtle shell. Native to Brazil, these petite easy care plants make great plants for terrariums or container gardens. The leaves of peperomia prostrata are extremely delicate. To prevent leaf loss, do not to move this plant from its established spot.
Light: bright indirect light. Make sure the top of the plant is receiving good light or else the top may become bare.
Water: these are succulent like plants and like to dry out completely before watering, peperomia prostrata are extremely susceptible to root rot.
Humidity: unlike most succulents, peperomia prostrata will thrive in higher humidity.
