Shipping policy

Once an order has been placed, your order will ship in 3-5 business days. Once an order has been shipping, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

Cancellation policy

If your order has not shipped, you may cancel your order by emailing us at Unfortunately if your order has shipped, you can no longer cancel or change your order.

Return, refund, and replacement policy

Once an order has been shipped or purchased in person, all sales are final and non-refundable.

All of our products are made, cared for, and shipped with utmost care and respect. The overwhelmingly majority of our customers are able to receive their orders with no problem. But sometimes things happen and we want to make sure we make things right. It is the utmost importance you contact us ASAP if you think your order is lost or there is an issue when your order arrives. Most of the time, it's an issue with our shipping partner, and if so we will work with them to make sure things are straightened out. You must contact us within 24 hours of the time stamp of package delivery. See below how to file a claim.

How to file a claim

Most plants ship well, but please understand plants are living beings, and after being in a dark box for a few days, some shipping stress is to be expected. It is normal for there to be a yellow/ brown/ wilted / bent leaf or two. In this case, prune off any damaged leaves upon arrival. Once the plant acclimated, your new plant baby will bounce back in no time!

If there is an issue beyond normal shipping stress, it is of utmost important you contact us ASAP. You must contact us immediately upon package unpacking. Plant must be in the same condition and packing it was sent in, do not repot / water / mist / fertilize / etc. All claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery time stamp, claims made after this 24 hours window time will not be honored. Please follow these instructions to file a claim:

  1. Within 24 hours, email with your name, order number, the name of the plant that has an issue, and an explanation of the issue.

  2. Please attach a top-down picture, full side picture, and at least one close up picture of the issue area.

  3. Once we have received your order we will review your order within 48 hours. Sometimes we'll ask for additional information or photos to help us make a decision. We request that you respond to our requests for additional information or photos within 24 hours. All claims are at the discretion of Plants & What Knot.
