Shipping times vary based on the method selected at checkout. Typically, standard shipping takes 1-3 business days once your order leaves our facility. We ship via USPS or UPS, choosing the carrier that offers the fastest delivery to your location. Expedited shipping is also available for next-business-day delivery. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number. We recommend signing up for text updates through USPS or UPS to stay informed. For plant orders, it's crucial to open packages immediately upon arrival and avoid leaving them exposed to the elements.
We will ship your plants with utmost care, most plants travel well, but please be aware that some stress is to be expected after being in a dark box for a few days (one or two brown/ yellow/ droopy/ broken leaves is normal). Prune off any leaves or stems that have broken or yellowed/browned. With a little TLC and time to acclimate, your new plant will perk up in no time! If the plant does not look healthy (beyond regular shipping stress), please contact us immediately. It is your responsibility to inspect the plants upon arrival, as we do require you to contact us within 24 hours of delivery if there are any issues. Please see the next question.
Within 24 hours of USPS or UPS package delivery time stamp (this is to make sure plants were not sitting in inclement weather), you must email hello@plantsandwhatknot with your issue along with pictures or video of the top of the plant, side of the plant, and close up of the issue. All plants must be in the same packaging and condition they were sent/arrived in (do not repot, water, mist, etc. Altering the plant or items in any way will void any claims made.)
We will get back to you within 1 business day and assist you with your case. Whether the solution is a replacement or helping you a file a claim with USPS/UPS, we are here to help. All replacements are at the discretion of Plants & What Knot.
We do! We insulate and cushion all of plant orders with poly-fil and we also offer add on heat packs for $5. Please only add a heat pack if temperatures where you are will be below freezing. If a heat pack was requested and temperatures were not cold enough, plants can get heat damage. Plants & What Knot is not responsible for cold damage if you did not buy a heat pack or heat damage if you got a heat pack and did not need it.
