Tillandsia Butzii is a uniquely shaped air plant, which usually grows to a size of 8-10 inches. It is suitable for cool and humid conditions and needs more water compared to other species of air plants. It originated in Costa Rica and Mexico. It grows naturally in Central America and in many areas from southern Mexico to Panama. They have long wiry leaves that look like the tentacles of an octopus. Butzii also has a bulbous base and a gorgeous, bright red inflorescence.
Air plants in general prefer bright indirect light, good air circulation, higher humidity, and regular mist or 15 water bath once a week.
