Tillandsia harrisii is native to Central America, particularly Guatemala. Harrisii are what we call "the easiest air plant" around here. With the exception of Xerographica, this is considered one of the hardiest air plants. This is a firm leafed plant, abundant in trichomes, and can withstand high light conditions. All air plants "blush" when about to flower but these Harrisii have been treated to enhance it's natural blush color.
Air plants in general prefer bright indirect light, good air circulation, higher humidity, and regular mist or 15 min water bath once a week.
